I've been playing nice with my step mum and experimenting with Glitter Frosting Paste. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend buying a pot or two (and a mask...and spatula!).
A few weeks back I went to a workshop at the crafty corner and learnt how to use the paste on cards but we decided to see what else we could use it on...
First came acetate, which worked quite nicely but did have a slight halo effect where the glue seeped under the mask:

Next we applied a mask to a white cotton t-shirt and spread away. The effect is amazing and it's really easy to do:
