If you'd like to learn how to sew or you're a bit rusty and could use a refresher, Crafty Corner is running a series of sewing classes and workshops from their studio in South Shields.

They run classes to suit all abilities, starting with a complete beginners class, in which you'll learn how to use a sewing machine.

They also run project based workshops, to teach you how to make something that you can take home with you - these range from a peg bag to a make-up brush roll, an embroidered cushion cover, and a zip-up travel bag, to name a few. They also hold a beginners quilting class, in which you'll learn how to make a quilted baby blanket.
