I was recently asked if I could make a dog bandana for Shadow, an honorary member of Durham City Rugby Club. The team play in blue and yellow, so his bandana had to match, and would feature the MVP number 8.

I couldn't find the right fabric for the job, so patchworked together some yellow canvas and dark blue denim stripes to make the front, and used the same denim on the back. I had to line the top so that his collar doesn't catch on the seams, but think it's a nice extra touch so will be doing this on any new bandanas I make.

I'm really happy with how it turned out, and more importantly, so was Shadow!
