It's been quite some time since I wrote a blog post, but after a rather shitty 2019, I thought I'd start 2020 as I mean to go on. So that means doing more of the things I love, with the people I love, as well as taking more time to look after numero uno.

Once upon a time I loved nothing more than sitting with a pen and paper (or my laptop) and writing, but after not doing it for a while I found it rather hard to get back into it. I tried several times but often found myself staring at a blank page with little motivation or inspiration, and either walked away or resorted to making visuals instead. But that ends here. In 2020 I want to get back into blogging, crafting and baking - which will all be the subject of most of my posts - as they all make me happy, and who doesn't want more happiness?!

Anyway, I've finally broken the seal and written my first post in two and a half years (blimey!) so here's hoping the next one flows more easily and has more pictures.
